Hosting with Site Maintenance Policy
Site Maintenance:

Our Site Maintenance Policy is to keep your website as
current as possible. Site maintenance
time will NOT be used for new site
design or layout changes. Web
Solutions Group and Carib Web Solutions
will charge all “re-design” at the
design hourly rate and reserve the right
to distinguish between maintenance and
re-design.

Sixty minutes per month of updates to existing content
are included in your Hosting with Site
Maintenance plan. Additional time spent
will be billed at the hourly rate.
Minutes in the Site Maintenance Policy
do not accrue; if the minutes are not
used with in the calendar month, they
expire on the last day of the month.

Maintenance updates to websites can take 2-3 business
days to complete depending on workload
and holiday scheduling.

Completed updates will be billed in the month they are
completed, not necessarily in the month
they are requested.

Interpreting requests (maintenance updates or design
changes), including phone conversations
with the website manager, will be
considered part of the billable design
or maintenance minutes.

Changes and updates will occur as received. Our
designers will not spread the work
across several months to avoid charges.
You should submit your changes as you
need them.

If the requested changes require more than the 60
minutes in your plan, the changes will
be completed and you will be billed for
all minutes over.

Changes or updates that are not what you intended will
be billed to you on your hourly rate (if
over the allotted time in your plan) if
said changes are deemed by Carib Web
Solutions or Web Solutions Group to be
due to incomplete or misleading
information.

All updates and changes require accessing the website
in an editing program, making the
changes or updates and publishing the
changes/updates to the web and then
verifying the work. As these steps take
a minimum of five minutes and will be
completed each time a change is
requested, these minutes will be
considered part of your allotted
maintenance time or billed at your
hourly rate.

Errors, billing or design, that are deemed fault of
Webs Solutions Group or Carib Web
Solutions will be corrected at no
charge. Errors, billing or design that
are deemed the responsibility of the
customer will be billed at the
customer’s hourly rate.

Web Solutions Group and Carib Web Solutions will at
times update your site with out
obtaining prior permission to fix
something that is not working on your
site such as a broken link, update code
or update key words for improved search
engine results.

Email support is unlimited and will not be billed to
the maintenance plan. Carib Web
Solutions and Web Solutions Group are
happy to assist clients via email at any
time.

Clients will receive information for their email
accounts and Carib Web Solutions and Web
Solutions Group will correct any
problems on our end. Additional support
will be billed as part of monthly
maintenance minutes.

Initial email set up and support is offered at no
charge.
Additional Information:

We may ask you to provide information on your desired
changes in a different format.

We are happy to work with third party companies
(Graphic designers, hosting companies,
consultants, etc but please be aware
that all time requested by your
employees will be billed as part of your
monthly minutes.

If you use services provided by free tracking software
companies and those companies change
their formats requiring reconfiguration
or re-installation, that time will be
billed as re-design time.
Refunds:

If a hosting refund is deemed necessary, said refunds
will be on a pro-rated basis.

Non payment will result in your web addresses leading
to temporary page notifying visitors
that the site is “down” for non payment
of hosting fees.
For those customers interested in
maintaining their website or parts of their
website themselves:

The customer will be responsible for
maintaining a current back up of the site.
Our Site Hosting plan will include a weekly
back up (daily for database hosting) but it
can not be guaranteed to be the most current
copy. For example, if our back ups take
place on Saturday and you make changes or
updates on Monday and a hardware failure
occurs on Tuesday…

Web Solutions Group and Carib Web Solutions
will assist customers in learning use of
HTML editors and FTP but may charge an
hourly fee for this time. Please note that
we do not support all possible software
programs for HTML editing or FTP.
Note: Site hosting begins the day that we
notify you that your site is available for
review on the internet regardless of the
number of days it takes you to “approve” the
site.
